COST'S FOR CABINET PAINTS

Without a doubt, the types of paint's that are marketed for cabinet painting, take the cake when it comes to cost. Most of them will run you, the average customer, $100 or more.

For that same amount of money you could buy 3 or 4 gallons of 'regular paint'.

COULD YOU PAINT CABINETS WITH 'REGULAR PAINT?

Yep. You sure could, as long as you don't mind peeling and cracking paint. And cleaning them? Nope, cant do that either. As soon as you begin to scrub the paint will lighten in color and then it will slowly begin to remove completely. See, the paint's we use for cabinets are made with water based alklyds, and they dry harder than any other paints. You can scrub them repeatedly over years and years and the color will not fade.

THE SECRET OF CABINET PAINT

Urethane paint is easier to apply than acrylic enamel. Urine can be applied with low pressure, high volume spray guns that are better suited for the application of this type of finish because it has thicker consistency and doesn't run as easily when being shot at some particles embedded in its surface like lighter-weight paints do under these conditions which makes them more sustainable over time but still vulnerable against dirt or other things constantly getting trapped inside cracks on walls left unpainted until later closed up again without any formation. Professional cabinet painting is about preparation and using the best materials for a long last finish.
URETHHANE finishes last much longer through various factors including how durable they already were versus starting out fully covered right off th

Urethane finishes are much more resilient than acrylic enamel. Urehanes last 5-10 years longer with the same conditions, and they're also easier to maintain in general because there's no need for sanding or other Sandpaper maintenance needs like you would have when using an Acrylic finish - which can be very damaging on furniture over time due to its tendency of taking away wood grain detail compared
to urethane modified alkyd resin? It provides fast dry and less yellowing properties while still exhibiting early hardness development before light color change starts happening at around 10 hours exposure!
